Press Release: FORCE FEST: AWAKENS Star Wars themed party in Hemming Park this Friday from 5pm-9pm

FRIDAY DECEMBER 11th, 2015 • 5pm-9pm

Force Fest: Awakens is a fan fueled tribute event to the STAR WARS saga taking over Hemming Park in Downtown Jacksonville on Friday December 11th, 2015 from 5pm-9pm. Presented by Jacksonville’s premiere pop-culture convention COLLECTIVE CON (April 1st-3rd, 2016 at the Jacksonville Fairgrounds) FORCE FEST is a collaborative effort between Collective cofounder and nerdcore event promoter Max Michaels and CJ Allen along with a host of sponsors helping to make this unique event a reality.

FORCE FEST is family friendly, all ages, and free to the public. At around 7pm the night of the show we are calling together everyone with a Lightsaber to the center of Hemming Park to engage in the largest mock saber battle in Northeast Florida. Patrons can bring their own saber or FORCE FEST will have 1000 24” LED Lightsabers for sale both in advance at or at the main FORCE FEST tent the evening of the event.
