Over the last few weeks, I’ve written about midterms, how to handle the stress involved with prepping and taking them, the importance of finding the balance between our school, work and personal lives, about all the responsibilities we have to handle before the end of the semester and start of the holiday season.
Some students have classes that are not having finals. I’m not so sure how lucky they are because there’s usually a major project that’s required instead. Frequently these projects are due the week before finals. For the students that do have them, next week is finals week for the Fall 2015 semester.
Hopefully, you’ve been doing all you can to maximize your success, staying on top of reviewing the material and balancing your obligations so the pressure doesn’t build up and get to the point of being overwhelming. Sometimes cramming might work, but it can be really, really stressful while you’re struggling with this.
One way or the other, this semester is winding down and will be over in a matter of days. Sometimes, it feels like it has taken forever to get here and sometimes it’s almost hard to believe it’s nearly done! Then, the holiday season will be upon us and the shopping, gathering and partying will be in full swing.
Whether you celebrate Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa or the Winter Solstice, enjoy your time with family and friends, be safe if you’re traveling and may your days be filled with joy and many blessings.
